Besoft Axis is our project management service. Tasks, docs and files live side by side, and every change appears for the whole team instantly — no refresh button. Clients can join as guests: they follow progress and leave comments without being able to change anything.

Challenge
Make a tracker lighter than the usual ones: no nested organisations or workspaces, instant sync and easy guest access for clients.
Solution
We built a local-first app on Rocicorp Zero: changes apply instantly on the user’s device and sync through PostgreSQL logical replication, while permissions are enforced on the server. Docs are co-edited with Tiptap and Yjs, showing collaborators’ cursors. The storage quota holds even under parallel uploads, video seeks in every browser, and open docs are saved when the server restarts.
