Besoft Cloud is our platform for developers. Apps use it to send phone verification codes: first via WhatsApp, and by SMS if the message doesn’t arrive. A developer creates a project, gets a key pair and tops up a single balance shared by all connected services. Our own products run on it.

Challenge
Make phone verification in Kyrgyzstan cheap and reliable: SMS costs more and doesn’t always arrive, and not everyone has WhatsApp.
Solution
Before sending, the service checks whether the number has WhatsApp and picks a channel. Messages are queued in PostgreSQL, and several workers process the queue in parallel without stepping on each other. Every delivery attempt is logged; if a message isn’t delivered in time, part of the cost is refunded and the code goes out through the next channel. Delivery statuses from WhatsApp Business arrive via a signature-verified webhook.
